Brants Realtors has been a fixture in the Fort Worth landscape since 1926, when Harry E. Brants formed an insurance mortgage and Fort Worth real estate partnership. Finding homes for clients was a sideline service the company offered, a role that expanded as the years went by.

In the 1930’s, The Brants Company, as it was called in those days, represented one of the first fine Fort Worth homes for sale in a new ‘incorporated village’ called Westover Manor in Westover Hills—now a landmark neighborhood, and home to many leading citizens.

A decade later, the company provided many loans for wartime housing and through Burdette Brants, one of five Brants brothers, who arranged development and mortgage financing for A.C. Luther’s Ridglea and Ridglea Hills subdivisions. Later successful subdivisions developed by Clayton Brants Jr., included Highland Park, Bryce Avenue Town homes, Harbour Point, Dosier Cove, Glen Eagles and Mony Street Business Park.

In 1950, Doug McKenzie joined the firm to focus on commercial and residential real estate brokerage. The company opened its first independent brokerage office in 1962, and 10 years later Brants Realtors emerged as a separate partnership from the parent company. The company incorporated in 1978, to become Brants Realtors, Inc.

Through the years, the company has remained true to its philosophy and vision while incorporating cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking strategy into today’s challenging and complex Texas, Fort Worth real estate environment.
